We are women connected by something that began long ago but continues to grow with every passing year. The Akron Alumnae Association is a group of Kappas who believe in the traditions that brought us together, the friendships that keep us connected, and the importance of staying involved in the sisterhood we proudly call our own.Our Kappa journey doesn't end when we leave college. It simply enters a new chapter. Through careers, families, busy seasons, new adventures, and retirement, our lives may change, but the bond of blue and blue remains. There is something special about knowing that wherever life takes you, there is a Kappa sister who understands where you came from and the traditions that helped shape you.Here in Akron, we are working to build an alumnae association where sisters can reconnect, make new friendships, celebrate our Kappa traditions, preserve the history of our Lambda chapter, and find meaningful ways to be involved.
